Epicenter in partnership with Ilmarinen opened its local operations in the heart of Helsinki in November 2018. The premises of 8000 sqm have flexible work areas, private offices, studios, event spaces, meeting rooms, a world-class restaurant, a fully equipped gym, and more.

Epicenter Helsinki is looking for an experienced sales manager with excellent commercial and people skills to come to innovate with us.

Epicenter Helsinki, located in downtown Helsinki and the very heart of Silicon Kalevala, is a world-class innovation environment for scale-ups and corporates looking to grow and innovate with impact.

Epicenter has approx. 8.000 sqm of flexible work areas, private offices, studios, event spaces, meeting rooms, a world-class restaurant, a fully equipped gym, and more. Epicenter Helsinki is operated by a local team, a team that manages the relationships with members, guests, and suppliers. The main tasks of the team are based on Sales, Event management, Community activities, Marketing & PR, Service management, and delivery of Strategic Advisory and Program Services to members.

What is your role in this?

We are looking for a rock star sales manager to acquire, develop and grow our customer portfolio in Helsinki, Is that you?

The Sales Manager is responsible for the revenue generation and member build up in the market across all products. This entails being responsible for the acquisition strategy, lead generation, segmentation, doing house tours and sales presentation with prospects, quotation, and contracting as well as defining customer road maps with the clients won for cross-sales and up sales. The Sales Manager is responsible for executing the individual sales plan from customer acquisition to managing key customer relations with Epicenters' most strategic clients and cooperation partners.

The Sales Manager constantly strives to service the customers and prospects in a professional manner and provide them with value. The ideal Sales Manager is a structured sales professional with relevant background in B2B sales. Having experience from the real estate industry and/ or consultancy organization is also a merit. The Sales Manager reports to the Hub Manager and participates in regular meetings with other Epicenter colleagues to share best practices, exchange ideas, and discuss execution strategies.

Cheerful, nice, sharp, competitive, and good at seeing new opportunities for the business and the customers are key qualities for a sales manager to be successful at Epicenter Helsinki.

What your days will look like

The sales manager will be at the center of the local operations and manage the commercial relationship with existing and new customers to support them on the growth path.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a local sales budget incl. reporting and forecasting

· Follow sales plan by customer acquisition and execution of sales strategy

· Perform (sales) customer tours in the Epicenter building

· Participate in the various events and happenings organized by Epicenter for its customers. such as Digital Safaris, After Works, lunch talks to present Epicenter and to do sales.

Requirements & Skills

· Documented sales results

· Great self and leadership skills

· Well organized and structured

· Good at keeping track of many things at once

· Seeing each member / guest / visit / customer as a sales opportunity and as an opportunity to represent Epicenter.

· Be a team player and always be ready to take one for the team

· Be able to focus on the tasks and deliver what is expected

· A creative mind and passion for storytelling and business

· Fluent in English and Finnish. Other languages are also a huge plus.

· Have an interest in digital innovations and technology
